Eat to Thrive Even When You’re With Non-Raw Vegans

During a recent trip to Lake Jocassee, here in South Carolina, I stayed in this humble, little cottage, which, incidentally, turned into a huge house, and I had all the space to create some beautiful, fresh plates.

Maybe, like some of you, I was the only one who liked to eat like me and the only one interested in my methods too. At one point, I was sitting around the table looking at what everyone else was eating with their meats and drinks and reminded myself, that’s just not my food. I just don’t desire that food anymore. I only want whole foods that allows me to thrive so I can be the best version of myself. No one else’s food or toxic thoughts I could think are ever better than feeling how awesome feels. I know how to feel good, so that’s what I will do for myself.

So, this got me thinking, I’d like to talk to you about keeping streamlined when away with family and friends.

If you do struggle with this when surrounded by loved ones who are doing things a little different, it’s important to think about how good you feel, the energy you have, and most importantly to me, how much you remember of those incredible moments surrounded by great company.

I can’t tell you how important it is for me now to hold onto my memory and my health.

This is what eating raw really does for me.

Butterfly, we can look out for our bodies just as we see fit. Raise your standards in your health and raise your standards in your life.

In the meantime, here are a few tricks to keep me focused and on my plan (even when I’m dining with non-vegans)!

I hope you are doing you for you!

Love + Light
