How To Take Responsibilty For Your Own Health

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to take responsibility for your own health. This is something I know a lot of people have been finding hard to commit to since Covid began. It seems like people are just sitting still, waiting and it’s made so many people stagnant, sad, and unmotivated.

So, I thought I’d give you some love, light and positivity to remind you there’s a light on the other side. You just have to follow it with focus and passion and hope so that you become part of that shining light and the very best version of yourself.

I’ll start by saying don’t be hard on yourself.

We are in times like never before, your rhythm has been thrown off and that can really make it difficult to put down those “toy” foods and prepare yourself a salad

But what I want you to remember though, is why you started or got interested in a raw vegan diet to begin with. Because you want to feel better.

This is where you need to focus your mind.

On what you have gained.

On where you are heading.

Are you on the road to becoming the best version of yourself?

Of course you are!

I remember a few years ago, during the eclipse, I was going to the gym and to my surprise it was completely empty!

The man on reception said it was because no one could drive in the eclipse. I couldn’t understand it. People were perfectly happy to change their routine and lounge around in their undershirts drinking Bud Light but couldn’t walk to the gym?

To this day, that is the example I always think of when talking about and taking responsibility and building MY true health. By true health, I mean from the inside, creating patterns that bring us what we are looking for. Not just going to the gym and lifting weights to look good, but to really, truly feel good! I talk about this a little more in my video here. It’s always my mindset to keep this in mind...“Do it while you go through it. Learn to build and hold onto your health no matter what’s going on. Nothing is more important during these uncertain times than your mind and body being clean, clear and bright.

When you’re thinking about doing it while you go through it, what mantras you can have in mind to keep you on track. One of the greatest things to keep me on track and how I will feel after I eat it.

Healing is real. Stay strong, Butterfly.
