Low Fat Raw Vegan: More Than A Diet

Hey hey! 

Today I wanted to talk to you about something other than the food you put in your body… Because I want you to know that LFRV (low-fat raw vegan) is much more than just a diet - it’s a lifestyle. I believe it isn’t enough to just eat the right foods; if you aren’t living the other parts of your life in harmony with the same mindset, it will be difficult to maintain long-term.

Don’t just eat healthy, think healthy! Move healthy! Talk Healthy! Act Healthy! 🤸

My self-care routines are an essential part of my identity as a Low-Fat Raw Vegan. I have many! I rebound daily, I brush my skin, I take the time to choose a nice outfit and accessories that will make me feel great all day long. I also regularly check in with myself and I listen to my body and my mind telling me to slow down.

In truth, I believe that once you start on the path of being a raw vegan, or just eating healthier foods, or reevaluating your relationship with food - whatever journey it is that you’re on - it won’t be long before you start to look at the other areas in your life. Because as you start to feel better in your body, and you realize it’s possible, you’ll want to feel that great in all aspects of your life!

But it can be a lot to try changing everything all at once. Take it one step at a time. And if you ever feel like you’re losing the motivation, or you’re tempted to slip back into your old ways, try implementing one small self-care act into your routine, something you’ll do every day. It doesn’t have to be a big thing or take a long time. You’ll feel the joy of taking care of yourself and it will keep you on track so you can remember your “Why”.
